Just to spice things a bit, we are going to talk about Tribal Heart Tattoo in a different light. Below are some bible verses that contain the word heart. To make this a truly tribal heart tattoo, you may add some tribal design or write it in a tribal font.

Tribal Heart Tattoo Idea: Background

In the Old Testament of the Holy Bible, Leviticus 19:28 states “Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead nor print any marks upon you: I am the Lord.”

However, this day and age, tattoos are accepted not only by nonbelievers, but Christians as well. Tattoos are now used, not to shock but inspire. Sometimes tattoos are even inspired by what is in the bible. It’s not uncommon to see tattoos of the Virgin Mary, Saints and even Jesus Christ himself. If it can be painted or sculpted, it can definitely be tattooed.

For the not so showy people, the most common is the heart. To symbolize love, which is what Jesus Christ, Himself endorsed.

Heart references in the bible abound, especially in the New Testament, where Jesus practically changed how believers perceive God.

1 Samuel 16:7

In the Old Testament, warns us about our hearts. It basically spells for us that we are responsible for our hearts and that we should keep them pure and for God as it is the only thing that He sees in us.

Colossians 3:15

And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. And always be thankful.

Hebrews 10:22

In the New Testament, the heart, although still being considered as the definition of a person, the responsibility seems to have been taken from the people and given to Jesus Christ. The message conveyed is that the heart only need to love like Christ love the people and accept Him as the Savior and all is well.

Thus, most tribal heart tattoos with bible versesrepresent faith. The bleeding heart, hearts with thorns, glowing heart, hallowed hear; all symbolizing the Savior’s sacrifice and love.
